PRESENTENCE REPORT
Many court systems require a presentence report be completed on each and every defendant before sentence is passed.
This can be a time-consuming process, since it often entails pulling information together from disparate sources and entering
the details into tiny little boxes - often repetitively. Think how much easier it would be to do this by voice, and to have many of
the entries pre-automated. For most purchasers, some changes would need to be made, since this application specifically
references the New Jersey court system and the New Jersey criminal code. The basics are shown in the video, and
additional features are listed below.

A great time-saver: put the name, county, case number (etc.) in ONCE. It gets inserted automatically into every location which calls for
it.
Choose a county (by voice, of course) and the next screen will give you every municipality in it….
Put in the date of birth, and the age is calculated automatically.
Not sure of the statute number, the section, the degree? Look it up with a single search-word, and the statute number and section are
inserted automatically.
Put in the dates of jail time, and time-served is calculated automatically.
Insertions when and if you need them. Why fill up a document with blank pages? For example, if you say “Yes” to “Prior Court History?”
a form to handle prior history is inserted into your document. If you say “No,” it isn’t.
Adult and juvenile histories (and proceedings in- and out-of-state) are handled separately and inserted in the appropriate place (which
the program creates for you).
Multiple charges? No problem – a template to handle them gets added (but only if you need it).
