Dragon Legal 10 is a fully customizable, powerful productivity solution that enables legal professionals to
streamline their workflow using the power of speech. Users can create briefs and letters, enter data, fill out
forms, send e-mails, browse the Web, launch applications and perform other complex tasks by speaking. It
combines Nuance's state-of-the-art continuous speech technology with a comprehensive legal vocabulary and
stress. If you think our courts are overwhelmed NOW, just imagine them drowning in Dragon-produced reams of
paper.

Dragon Legal automatically formats legal citations, and allows you to create special voice commands that instantly
build and format templates for contracts or other legal documents. It includes administrative tools for large
distributed network deployments, such as support for Citrix terminals. And you can dictate using a handheld
digital recorder or a Bluetooth microphone for greater mobility. Or you can just shout across the room at your
computer and pretend you have a mobile solution.

Get started quickly – If you're using a headset microphone, you don't even need to do the voice
enrollment - just start dictating. However, having said that, we do recommend that you do the
enrollment: it only takes 5-6 minutes, and boosts accuracy, so why not?

Large legal vocabulary - Includes a comprehensive vocabulary of nearly 300,000 standard legal and
business terms. Easily add new terms for different specialties or interests. Dragon will automatically format
legal citations, and if you have particularly choice forms of address for your legal opponents, you can add
those, too.

Create custom voice commands (macros) – this powerful feature enables you to create documents,
insert boilerplate text, launch applications, fill in forms, and perform other complex tasks with a spoken
word or phrase. “Advanced Scripting” commands, which use Microsoft® VBA-compatible scripting language,
allow you to automate complex tasks, or even speech-enable other applications. Simple commands that
enter blocks of text can by quickly created by anyone with the IQ of a piece of celery.

Work on the go – If away from your PC, use with any approved hand-held digital recorder, like any of
the ones we have in our Recorders section. Save a recording of your dictation with your document, then
send your file elsewhere for correction. Or, if you don't have a minion, you can set up autotranscribe
from a folder on your desktop. This is a neat little process that transcribes your files in the background
(so you can keep slaving away) - sort of a batch transcription process: no more cueing up the files
individually.

Protect your workers – Help prevent users from developing Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) and help
workers with RSI return to work. Offers no protection against foot-in-mouth disease unless you wear a
sports guard.

Meet compliance needs - Help address Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508
requirements. Compliance by subordinates is a different matter entirely.

Listen to your work – Hear text, such as an incoming email, read aloud with text-to-speech
technology. Nothing like a boring email read aloud in a computer-generated monotone to brighten up your
day.

Correction Only Mode: With Dragon 10, your "correctionist" can use a "no dictation available" profile,
which means they have no audio setup to complete (and don't even need to plug in a microphone to use
it) and can correct from any source. MUCH simpler.

Emails and scheduling made easy: Instead of going to your email editor, clicking on your contact list,
then starting a new email, just say, “Send an email to Richard Jones and Mary Smith.” Dragon will do the
rest. Similarly, if you need to schedule a meeting, you can say, “Schedule a meeting with Richard Jones
and Mary Smith,” and voila – it’s done.

Dragon Voice Shortcuts: You can quickly search for information on the Internet or on your own
computer just by saying something like, “Search the Web for a restaurant in Syracuse,” or “Search Amazon
for an Alison Krauss CD.” You can search your computer the same way: “Find budget worksheets,” or
“Find files about company policies,” or “Find emails about the Wentworth job.”

Audio saves in AutoTranscribe: The AutoTranscribe feature now saves a .dra file with the audio portion of
the document (if you want it to), which makes it much easier to clean up transcriptions. Now your
correctionists will know what you really said when the text comes out "Shamambalilith" because you're a
mumbler.

Quick Voice Formatting commands: These allow users to issue a single voice command, such as
“Italicize Quick Voice Formatting,” (which gets you Quick Voice Formatting) to make formatting and deleting
text faster than ever. In addition, the extensive set of Natural Language Commands mean users don't have to
memorize complex instructions. In Microsoft Word, for example, a user can say, “make that bigger,” and the
font size increases instantly
