Dragon Legal automatically formats legal citations, and allows you to create special voice
commands that instantly build and format templates for contracts or other legal
documents. It includes administrative tools for large distributed network
deployments, such as support for Citrix terminals. And you can dictate using a handheld
digital recorder or a Bluetooth microphone for greater mobility. Or you can just shout
across the room at your computer and pretend you have a mobile solution.

Get started quickly – If you're using a headset microphone, you don't even
need to do the voice enrollment - just start dictating. However, having said that,
we do recommend that you do the enrollment: it only takes 5-6 minutes, and
boosts accuracy, so why not?
Large legal vocabulary - Includes a comprehensive vocabulary of nearly
300,000 standard legal and business terms. Easily add new terms for different
specialties or interests. Dragon will automatically format legal citations, and if you
have particularly choice forms of address for your legal opponents, you can add
those, too.
Create custom voice commands (macros) – this powerful feature enables you
to create documents, insert boilerplate text, launch applications, fill in forms, and
perform other complex tasks with a spoken word or phrase. “Advanced Scripting”
commands, which use Microsoft® VBA-compatible scripting language, allow you to
automate complex tasks, or even speech-enable other applications. Simple
commands that enter blocks of text can by quickly created by anyone with the IQ
of a piece of celery.
Work on the go – If away from your PC, use with any approved hand-held
digital recorder. Save a recording of your dictation with your document, then
send your file elsewhere for correction. Or, if you don't have a minion, you can
set up autotranscribe from a folder on your desktop. This is a neat little process
that transcribes your files in the background (so you can keep slaving away) - sort
of a batch transcription process: no more cueing up the files individually.
Protect your workers – Help prevent users from developing Repetitive Strain
Injury (RSI) and help workers with RSI return to work. Offers no protection
against foot-in-mouth disease unless you wear a sports guard.
Meet compliance needs - Help address Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
and Section 508 requirements. Compliance by subordinates is a different matter
entirely.
Listen to your work – Hear text, such as an incoming email, read aloud with
text-to-speech technology. Nothing like a boring email read aloud in a computer-
generated monotone to brighten up your day.
