PHILIPS SPEECHMIKES - PRO PLUS (5276) AND CLASSIC PLUS (5272)
|
What's the difference between Pro and Classic?
Pro has push buttons. Classic has a four-position slide switch. There - that wasn't so hard, was it?
PHILIPS SPEECHMIKE PRO PLUS (5276)
|
With the SpeechMike Pro Plus, you can dictate whilst comfortably navigating
Windows® applications thanks to an integrated OPTICAL TRACKBALL
MOUSE (no more gummed-up trackballs sending your cursor thither and yon)
and the new scroll wheel. Programmable keys are a boon for Dragon users,
since they can be set up to run macros, move around forms, or whatever you
want. Same with the new function keys - four of 'em. Comes with a hanging
bracket and driver software. This one's a great favorite of physicians, who
presumably lean back in their chairs, put their feet on the desk, and navigate
from afar. Simple USB installation, digital sound, and a handy metal casing
over the improved microphone so you don't squash important parts.

PHILIPS SPEECHMIKE CLASSIC PLUS (5272)
|
The Philips SpeechMike Classic Plus offers the same functionality as the Pro, but
comes with a classic four-position slide switch to control dictation, instead of push
buttons (hence the name). Like the Pro, its trackball is optical and the new scroll
wheel allows easy navigation of documents and websites. Four programmable
keys and four function keys allow nearly total customization for the user, and the
accuracy of the microphone has been given a considerable boost. Both versions
have been redesigned to be more ergonomical, and to fit both left hands and
smaller hands more easily. No feet.
